Hi, my name is André Sudradjat. Growing up, I studied my father’s record collection, listening to the Beatles while my peers were into 90s pop music. This led me to play the guitar excessively, trying to master solos by Jimi Hendrix and Santana. As a teenager, I found punk and indie as a way to express myself. The roughness and political ambitions of bands like Black Flag, Rage Against the Machine ✊🏼, and NOFX influenced my view of music and its potential to address and impact societal issues.
Discovering rap music such as Nas and Wu-Tang Clan, along with producers like J Dilla🕊️ and MF DOOM🕊️, introduced me to sampling. Fascinated by the technique and the idea of paying tribute to old soul records while creating something new, I delved into beat making.
Since then, my world of sound has known no boundaries or genre borders. I like to express my creativity across a wide spectrum, embracing and blending various musical styles.🌎
